The Challenge: Project 54
We joyfully share with you God’s faithfulness to the Philippine Navigators as it continues to respond to its calling in advancing the Gospel and God’s Kingdom for over 50 years now. God continuously uses our dedicated staff and partners towards the transformation of thousands of lives, in building loving communities, and influencing sustainable nation-building.
In the next four years, God has put in our hearts through Isaiah 54: 1-3 to “GO wider, GROW deeper, and GLOW brighter!”
*Go wider revolves around our thrust to expand the ministry, advancing the Gospel and God’s Kingdom.
*Grow deeper pursues our desire to see our laborers of the Gospel holistically equipped.
*Glow brighter encompasses our aspirations to create long-lasting impact by sharing to those in need bringing the glow of the Gospel in the emergence of calamities, losses and poverty.
This is what Project 54 is all about.
The Navigators Philippines has prayerfully identified four key priority areas that Project 54 seeks to fund:
- Ministry Expansion
“To know Christ and to make Him known and to help others do the same”, this is our calling. Discipleship, life-coaching and mentoring principles of the Navigators are strongly anchored on the Christian Bible. We desire to open 13 new ministry areas, start a High School ministry, develop thousands of Small Biblical Communities and send new missionaries overseas. - Capacity Building
The Navigators has been known for its life-on-life discipleship and mentoring. Over the years, this has significantly helped individuals in their walk with God, influencing the quality of their relationships. We believe that this can significantly impact nation-building. The Capacity Building program has three main components, namely Youth Development, Workforce Leadership Development, and Staff Development. - The Building Repair and Refurbishment
The headquarters of the Navigators has hosted several trainings and youth development workshops. It has also housed sick people, typhoon victims, and even fresh graduates who are on tight budget but need a place to stay during their job hunting and review for their licensure exams. To be able to use it for its various purposes, the building needs repair, water proofing, repainting, and refurbishing. - The Bayanihan Fund
The Bayanihan Fund is initiated in our response in the emergence of calamities, losses and poverty. As believers and followers of Christ, it is important for us to bear with one another’s burdens just as Jesus did and commanded in Galatians 6:2 and John 13:34-35. The Bayanihan Fund shall cover: Benevolence, Disaster Response and Community Development Initiatives.
