The Old Testament came alive for more than 80 participants (45 in-person, 43 online) during a dynamic 3-hour survey session facilitated by Dr. Roy Versoza (a Navigator alumnus now based in Canada) at the Navigator Building in Cubao, Quezon City.
More than just a walkthrough, the session invited participants to see the Old Testament as one unfolding story—tracing key events, understanding the flow of history, and making sense of how the books connect. Through creative teaching methods, including simple actions and gestures, Dr. Versoza helped bring structure and memory together in a way that was both effective and fun.
Energy filled the room as in-person participants broke into small groups to practice what they learned. The session culminated in a lively challenge: each group confidently recited the order of the Old Testament books and events—from Genesis to Christ—showcasing not just recall, but real engagement with the material.
All in all, it was a rich and interactive learning experience—equipping participants with a clearer grasp of the Old Testament and leaving many encouraged to continue exploring and sharing God’s Word with greater confidence.
