Personal and Ministry Background
Our Setting:
Dubbed as the country's premiere university, UP is an academic community
with fiery young people that makes one ask: Where do they get the
boundless energy? UPD is a large, picturesque campus littered with denim
jeans manned by students who tend to value freedom of expression,
question everything, and engage in tireless conversations. An
anything-goes place, where God is not exactly a priority, and where
making spirituality relevant gets easier if you bring food along.
Nevertheless you'll find a fun and loud crowd who can surprise you with
their deep concern for the heart and having authentic relationships.
Our Concerns:

We create opportunities for the youth to grow in leadership, character,
community involvement, and most importantly, their relationship with
Christ.

We journey with students into a deeper understanding of God's nature, and
discover an identity that is rooted in God's own image.

We find opportunities to share the Gospel openly through Classroom
Evangelism, and also by living out our convictions in friendships and
through loving service.

We also endeavor to impact the youth outside the campus.
We enjoy coming together to create programs that reach out to the youth
through camps/conferences, study groups, counseling, one-to-one follow
up, seminars/trainings, small biblical communities, and
fellowships/community worship.
