Community Ministry

My wife and I are continuously and progressively developing relationships with our neighbors in Barangay Dona Imelda, Quezon City both in the urban poor areas and in the middle and upper bracket of our Barangay.The Gospel has been presented to several families within the squatter area and to our neighbors along  Bituan street . We plan to further present the gospel in holistic manner, through networking with the Barangay officials on values formation programs within the next five months.Regular weekly meetings will be undertaken soon.

ISA 58:7 Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter--when you see the naked, to clothe him,and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood? ISA 58:8 Then your light will break forth like the dawn,and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you,and the glory of the LORD will be your rear guard.ISA 58:9 Then you will call, and the LORD will answer;you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I."If you do away with the yoke of oppression,with the pointing finger and malicious talk,ISA 58:10 and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed,then your light will rise in the darkness,and your night will become like the noonday.ISA 58:11 The LORD will guide you always;he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail."

Prayer Ministry

Have undertaken God-focused Prayer Retreats on ministry areas in CDO, Davao , Cebu , Northern Luzon and Metro Manila including Southern Luzon . The goal is to encourage every staff, alumni and campus people to develop the habit of listening to the Word of God in the context of small groups, be intimate with His dealings that will lead to automatic obedience to His commands. Malachi 3:16 has always been the rallying verse during meetings:

MAL 3:16 Then those who feared the LORD talked with each other, and the LORD listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the LORD and honored his name.

Missions

We help stir up the awareness of all staff about God's never ending desire to redeem the lost and restore His Creation back to Him by holding short two-hours to a day-long seminars on World Missions. We also hold 8-day Condensed World Missions Course seminars to interested staff, campus or professionals.

The Missions Team is also in the process of inviting applicants, selecting, training and sending them either on short term or long terms exposure trips to the targetted country Cambodia.Personally I love to quote this verse as my rallying point:

Administration

Ces has been asked to serve as the administrator of the Navigator's national office at 13 Denver St., Cubao, Quezon City. This is a wonderful opportunity for her to use her talents and skills to provide support services to field ministries.

Romans 15:20 It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else's foundation.
